Hi, and thank you for visiting my site. I’m Motoko, a front-end developer and UX designer based in Vancouver, Canada.
I was born and raised in Japan, spent part of my teenage years in the U.S., and have worked across Japan, the U.S., and the U.K. These experiences have shaped how I approach design, combining a global perspective with careful attention to detail.
Before moving into web design, I worked in finance, where I developed strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience at major Invstment Banks and mobile communication giant.
I focus on creating designs that feel calm, approachable, and easy to use, while supporting real user needs and business goals.
